What is Kinesiology?
Kinesiology is…
The study of the principles of mechanics and anatomy in relation to human movement.
Kinesiology is a natural medicine modality that brings together modern Western science and ancient Eastern philosophies. Using gentle, non‑invasive techniques, it works with the body’s innate intelligence to address a wide range of health and life concerns, helping restore vitality and support long‑term wellbeing.
Kinesiology takes a holistic view of health. It focuses on maintenance, prevention and education, empowering you to understand your body, make informed choices and take an active role in your wellbeing.
How does Kinesiology work?
Rather than addressing symptoms in isolation, kinesiology explores the deeper stress patterns that sit beneath them. It recognises the dynamic relationship between energy and physiology — and how shifts in one influence the other.
Muscle monitoring is central to this process. Through subtle changes in muscle response, the practitioner can identify the primary stressors — conscious or subconscious — that are affecting the body. These responses also guide the practitioner toward the most appropriate corrections to help release stress, shift ingrained patterns and support the body to return to balance.

Why choose Kinesiology?
Kinesiology acknowledges the body–mind connection and the body’s natural capacity to heal, adapt and self‑regulate. By working with the body’s own intelligence, it supports you to restore balance, gain clarity and create meaningful, long‑term change.
Because kinesiology draws from multiple disciplines, it offers a broad and flexible framework for supporting neurological, physiological and emotional wellbeing. This integrative approach allows each session to be tailored to your unique needs.
Kinesiology draws on principles and methodologies from:
- Anatomy, physiology and neurology
- Nutritional and biochemical influences
- Structural and functional concepts
- Psychological and behavioural frameworks
- Traditional Chinese Medicine and Five Element principles
- Subtle energy systems (such as the chakra system).
