Appointment & Cancellation Policy.
Complete Being Kinesiology is committed to providing exceptional service and care to all clients. Our appointments are precious - we respect our clients' time and expect the same in return.
Appointment confirmation:
Whether the appointment is booked online, made at the clinic or with Lexi directly, it will trigger an email with the confirmation details and a convenient link to add the date/time to your preferred calendar.
When appointments are booked online through the scheduling system:
- A minimum of 50% deposit is required to secure the face-to-face appointment, including the initial consultation.
- For all online kinesiology appointments, the full payment amount is required.
Appointment reminders:
To help you remember the important appointments, you will receive the following courtesy reminders:
- Via email - 7 days prior to your appointment, allowing you to conveniently make any required changes via a link to the online booking system or alternatively call Lexi directly on 0407 742 111
- Via SMS - 3 days prior to your appointment - if you need to make changes at this point in time and to avoid cancellation fees, please contact Lexi promptly on 0407 742 111.
Cancellation fees:
Cancellation fees can be applied at our discretion or for any of the following:
- Cancellations the day prior and/or with less than a 24-hour notice period from the scheduled appointment time will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the booked consultation type (incl. GST)
- 'No shows' or last minute cancellations on the day of the appointment will incur the full consultation fee (incl GST).
If the deposit and/or full consultation fee has been paid ahead of the appointment, we reserve the right to keep the relevant funds depending on either of the above scenarios.
Otherwise, the cancellation fee will need to be paid within 24 hours and, prior to any further kinesiology appointments:
- If credit card details are stored in the online booking and payment system, the amount will be deducted within this time frame and a receipt will be sent from the Square Payment Portal
- If there are no credit card details held, the payment can be made via phone or alternatively, bank details will be emailed to ensure funds can be transferred promptly.
The above applies to all appointment options.
If you are feeling unwell and cannot come to the clinic, for example due to cold or flu symptoms, or for any other reason, face to face appointments can easily be changed on short notice to online sessions which work equally well and are typically delivered via Zoom. This is an effective way to avoid cancellation fees and you will also receive the required support with your health & wellbeing.
NSW Public Health Regulation 2022.
The NSW Government has released the Public Health Regulation 2022 which commenced on 1 September 2022. The Regulation carries over many of the provisions in Public Health Regulation 2012 while also including a range of new provisions. The NSW Code of Conduct for non-registered health practitioners has been in place since 2012 and is now updated for 2022. Note the term non-registered health practitioners refers to those who are not registered with AHPRA (which would apply to most natural health care practitioners).
