Staying the course.

Speaking to friends and clients, it seems I’m not the only one that feels a little behind - 2019 is already racing by! After a relatively calm, composed January (in which I felt somewhat on top of things), February has come along with an increase in activity and, a touch of chaos. With a tighter packed schedule, the “New Year” energy has somewhat faded - including my carefully made intentions of keeping present, balanced & clear.

Do you feel you’ve slipped back into old habits & comfortable patterns? Do you lack the energy or drive to stick to your plans? Or perhaps you haven’t even been able to start with what you set out to do in 2019? Take comfort in the fact that you are not alone – and know that it is never too late to commence prioritising your needs, your wants, your wellbeing.

As with a lot of things, if we want to succeed, we need to keep at it. I took a deep breath, reviewed where I was at and tapped into some useful tools to help me to get back on course. To me, careful planning coupled with setting realistic expectations and being disciplined in evaluating our progress are the key - so we can learn, adapt, grow and importantly, move forward with renewed vigour & zeal.

Personally, I keep a daily planner which contains pretty much anything from my to do list, appointments, goals, intentions, gratitude exercises – and I set reminders to prompt me about important action items. I conduct monthly reviews to help me reflect and evaluate where I am at with my milestones – this doesn’t have to take long yet it feels incredibly satisfying and insightful.

I prepared a simple monthly planner template to help you make more of March and the coming months. I hope you find it useful and of course, you can always expand as you see fit. To follow, in my next newsletter, I will be sharing a monthly wrap up template so you can review how you went - if you haven't subscribed to my newsletter yet, feel free to do so. Until then, happy planning and here’s to reaping the rewards!

“I can absolutely recommend Lexi, she is kind, compassionate and her treatments have helped me identify and manage stress and long held patterns of behaviour which have caused a massive shift in my health and wellbeing.” Helen (53)
“Lexi has been an integral part of my health regime for the past 3 years. I first went to Lexi because I was not seeing any improvement through conventional medicine for my health issue. I am consistently amazed at how much better I feel after having kinesiology sessions with Lexi.” Kylie (50)
“I felt out of balance and over stressed with my business, family and health and developed a skin condition. After seeing Lexi, I felt more focused and productive at work and far less stressed. My skin condition completely left after my 2nd session within 7 days. I can’t thank you enough Lexi.” Oli (30)
“I have suffered with nightly leg cramps for many years with no relief. Lexi was recommended to me by my daughter and after 1 visit and follow up, I am now free of the dreaded leg cramps. I can highly recommend Lexi, I think she is amazing, and I will continue to be a client of her.” Lorraine (74)
