New Clinic Location and Qualification: Celebrating milestones.
This year has brought a lot of change and as with most change, it feels uncomfortable at first. However, if we can stay open and trust in our ability to adapt, change eventually leads us to a sense of achievement and growth. The last few of months have been filled with a whirlwind of activity and at last, I can sit back, take a breath and honour my milestones.
So, what am I celebrating?
Opening my exciting new clinic space.
At the end of March, I moved to a new clinic location. Coming into my 10th year in business, it was time for a change and I am incredibly grateful for the support and encouragement I’ve received from my clients.
Why did I move? I was looking for a larger space for some time, however once I learned in early February, that my clinic’s building was to be sold, I knew this was the final ‘push’ from the Universe to get serious. After weeks of searching for the right space, planning and preparing for the move, on 21 March, I bid farewell to the clinic room that has served me, my business and importantly, my clients so well over the last seven years.
I was a little wistful to leave yet also excited to welcome my clients to my new space and finally offer a beautiful and comfortable waiting room. The transition went reasonably smooth, and I feel content and settled, and, thankfully, so do my clients who love the space as much as I do.
Completing the Level 2 Five Element Acupressure Course.
Still processing the relocation of the clinic, I flew to Brisbane shortly after to attend the next Five Element Acupressure course that I had signed up to over a year ago. It was held at a stunning venue called Soul Space where I felt indeed, soulfully connected and inspired from a variety of perspectives.
- As a student – learning and expanding my skill set
- As a practitioner - interacting with others and their respective fields of expertise, sharing insights and viewpoints
- As a client and from a personal perspective - receiving the (much needed) treatments and applications and experiencing the amazing benefits of Five Element Acupressure firsthand.
The course was another profound experience, personally and professionally. Spending four days with the participants under the expert guidance of John Kirkwood, we learned and grew together and exchanged the practice treatments. As a small group of five, we were able to go deeper with the work, resulting in some tremendous shifts. Receiving the certificate was an absolute privilege.
I’ve been working with the Five Elements, meridians and acupressure points for many years and the Five Element Acupressure certifications cement my knowledge and continue to give me new incredible insights and perspectives. I am always grateful for the opportunity to learn new skills and techniques that I can incorporate in my clinic, enhancing the services to my clients.
- Five Element Acupressure brings many benefits including deep relaxation and this feedback is echoed by my clients
- I use it every day in my clinic - for more information, please read this article: The Benefits of Five Element Acupressure.
